This date is marked as the official anniversary of the State Police.Īt that time there were a number of provincial National Guard and Municipal Militia battalions, plus cavalry platoons detached from the army and Carabinieri. On 11 July 1852, then King of Sardinia Victor Emmanuel II established the Public Security Guards, a prototype city police service created to serve Turin and Genoa for the protection of their citizens (Law no.1404), and also formed detachments of municipal police. It is successor and heir to the traditions of military and civil police organizations under both monarchy and republic. While the modern Polizia di Stato was created in 1981 with the merger of the many civil police services of Italy, its roots date back to 1852 as the police force of the then Kingdom of Sardinia. Interpol summarizes the primary focus of this force: "Its responsibilities include investigative and law enforcement duties, and the security of motorway, railway, and waterway networks". The Polizia di Stato is the principal Italian police force for the maintenance of public security and as such it is run directly from the Dipartimento della Pubblica Sicurezza (Department of Public Security), and the keeping of public order ( ordine pubblico). This converted the State Police to a civil force, which is in contrast to the other main police forces of Italy: the Arma dei Carabinieri, which is a military police ( gendarmerie) force and the Guardia di Finanza, the Italian customs and border protection police that also falls in the military corps category. It was a military force until 1981 when the Italian State Law 121 was passed.

La ricevuta, che fornisce il riepilogo dei dati identificativi dell’utente e della prenotazione effettuata, non costituisce titolo di soggiorno ma attesta la fissazione dell’appuntamento presso l’Ufficio Immigrazione per la formalizzazione dell’istanza amministrativa volta al rilascio /rinnovo del titolo autorizzatorio. Inoltre, per ciascuna tipologia di richiesta, il sistema indica analiticamente tutti i documenti da produrre allo sportello. L’utente registrato, che potrà effettuare una singola prenotazione, ottenuta la data dell’appuntamento tra quelle fornite dal sistema (le dieci più prossime al giorno in cui si procede alla prenotazione) dovrà stampare una ricevuta (munita di codice a barre e “QR Code”), da esibire presso l’Ufficio Immigrazione con un valido documento d’identità. La piattaforma, accessibile esclusivamente alle persone fisiche, è stata utilizzata fino ad oggi da quasi 300 utenti ed è raggiungibile sul sito web della Questura di Napoli dal link: ĭopo aver effettuato la registrazione al sito con l’indicazione dei dati identificativi e di altri elementi utili al riconoscimento, si potrà procedere all’indicazione della tipologia di permesso da richiedere e quindi, con passaggi intuitivi, effettuare la prenotazione della data e dell’orario che, ove necessario, potrà essere modificata tramite il sistema stesso. A partire dallo scorso 2 dicembre, l’Ufficio Immigrazione di Napoli ha attivato in via sperimentale l’applicativo “PRENOTA FACILE”, che consente al cittadino straniero di fissare, da remoto, un appuntamento per la presentazione allo sportello dell’istanza di rilascio/rinnovo dei permessi di soggiorno per i quali non sia già previsto l’invio tramite il servizio postale.
